Paige Cooper’s debut short story collection, Zolitude, won the 2018 Concordia University First Book Prize, was longlisted for the Scotiabank Giller, shortlisted for the Governor General’s Award for Fiction, a finalist for the Paragraphe Hugh MacLennan Prize for Fiction, and the runner-up for the Danuta Gleed Award. She grew up in the Canadian Rockies, went to the University of British Columbia, and got a Master of Library and Information Studies at Dalhousie. Her stories have appeared in magazines like West Branch, North West Review, Canadian Notes & Queries, Michigan Quarterly Review, and The Fiddlehead, among others. She was the editor of Best Canadian Stories 2020.
